Beman Winter 2026-2027 Sports Registration will OPEN on
Monday, Oct. 19, 2026
Anyone (MANAGERS included) interested in participating in a 2026-2027 WINTER Sport must register on Family ID by:
November 30, 2026 no later than 11pm!
There are no fees to play sports at Beman.
Interested in participating in a Winter 2026-2027 Sport?
In order to participate in any Beman sport you must do the following:
Register on Family ID
Have an updated Physical (information below, please reach out to your coach or our nurses if you have any questions with physicals)
Physicals have to be dated ON or AFTER 1/15/26 to be counted for the Winter 2026-2027 season.
Get your sports physicals done at the BEMAN School-Based Health Center

Remember to have the Pre-Participation Physical Examination Form and the School-Based Health Center (SBHC) - enrollment form (only if you are not a member) completely filled out before your appointment.
Before your appointment, you MUST have these forms completely filled out:
- Pre-Participation Physical Examination Form
- School-Based Health Center (SBHC) - enrollment form (only if you're not already a member)
Physical Expiration & Eligibility
- Physicals have to be dated ON or AFTER January 15, 2026 to be counted for the Winter 2026-2027 season.
- If your child's physical expires between November 2, 2026, and February 15, 2027, your child is NOT eligible to participate on the first day of practice/try-out. Please contact our Nurses with any questions.
Winter Sports Try-Out Schedule
As a reminder, students are ONLY allowed to try-out if Family ID Spring registration is complete and they have an updated physical (that takes them through the season) with the Beman nurses. Contact our coaches if you have any questions.

Try outs will be: November 9th & 10th, 12th & 13th and 16th - Beman Main and Auxiliary Gym, 3pm-5pm
Girls Basketball Coach: Mike Angeli, angelim@mpsct.org
Try outs will be: November 17th-20th - Beman Main Gym, 3pm-5pm
WInter Cheer Coach: Beth Shapiro, shapirob@mpsct.org
Try outs will be: November 17th-20th and 23rd (if needed) - Beman Auxiliary Gym, 3:30pm-5pm
Wrestling Coach: Steve McKeever, Mckeevers@mpsct.org
First practice will be: November 30th - Beman Auxiliary Gym, 3pm-5:30pm
